It was a proper cat-fight when Stewartville duked it out withBethlehem Academy on Saturday. The Stewartville Tigers came out on top against the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.
Stewartville got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 34-32.
Katherine Klavetter was the offensive standout of the game as she had 13 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season.
Stewartville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Bethlehem Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.
Stewartville has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Chaska on the 19th. Bethlehem Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
