Basketball Recap: Jahmir Joseph's Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Joseph Regional over Linden

St. Joseph Regional was the 78-44 winner over Linden when they last played one another back in February of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Joseph Regional Green Knights took a 47-32 bruising from the Linden Tigers on Sunday. The match marked the Green Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Green Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jahmir Joseph, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Pacciarelli, who went 6 of 12 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, St. Joseph Regional smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.

St. Joseph Regional now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Linden, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

St. Joseph Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-65 victory against Delbarton on the 4th. As for Linden, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-41 defeat against Plainfield on the 4th.
