Baseball Recap: Serena Comes Up Short

Serena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Putnam County Panthers.

Serena saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Whiteaker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Easton Bucz also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Serena's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Putnam County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-12.

As of now, neither Serena nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
