Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Live Oak). They blew past the Walker Wildcats 15-1 on Thursday. Considering the Eagles have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sawyer Pruitt looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed over his last four games.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brock Davis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 14 matchups. Another player making a difference was Brayden Allen, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Live Oak is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Walker and nudges their season record down to 13-4.

Live Oak will have a chance to go back-to-back against Walker: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
