Basketball Game Preview: Central Eagles vs. Union Academy Cardinals + How To Watch

The Central Eagles will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Union Academy Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Friday, Central didn't have quite enough to beat Monroe and fell 56-54.

Despite their defeat, Central saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jordan Crowder, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 20 points and seven boards, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Tazhir Webber, who shot 50% from the field en route to 12 points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Union Academy beat Lee Park Prep 52-44 on Monday.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Union Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
