Wai'anae has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 17. They came up short against the Campbell Sabers on Tuesday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Seariders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Hawaii soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Sabers are ranked fifth).

Wai'anae's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-2. As for Campbell, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 10-1-2 record this season.

Wai'anae will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against 'Aiea at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Campbell, they will take on Leilehua at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Campbell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.4 goals per game this season.
