Softball Recap: Dr. Krop Lightning vs. Braddock Bulldogs
Sadly, Dr. Krop is still looking for their first win of the season after four matchups. They suffered a tough 17-2 defeat at the hands of the Braddock Bulldogs on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Dr. Krop has lost by exactly 15 runs.
For Braddock's part, Melanie Tapanes was a standout: she scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Tapanes has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Cancio, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
Dr. Krop's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Braddock, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.
Dr. Krop does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Braddock, they will take on Palmer Trinity at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
