Soccer Game Preview: Hylton vs. Colonial Forge

The Hylton Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Colonial Forge Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hylton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.3 goals per game this season.

Hylton will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Forest Park on Thursday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Bruins. The result was nothing new for Hylton, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Forest Park with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jaiden Calvert, Caitlin Juarez, Angelyna Santana, and Nayeli Palomo.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Colonial Forge's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Riverbend by a score of 2-1.

Hylton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those six matchups. As for Colonial Forge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
