Soccer Game Preview: Carrollton vs. Tuscarawas Valley

Carrollton hasn't had much luck against Tuscarawas Valley recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Warriors will look to defend their home pitch against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Carrollton fell victim to Minerva and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Meanwhile, Tuscarawas Valley also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 6-0 to Dover on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Tuscarawas Valley in their meetings with Dover: they've now lost six in a row.

Tuscarawas Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-3. As for Carrollton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Carrollton suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Tuscarawas Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2022. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 4-1.
