Volleyball Recap: Croswell-Lexington Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Croswell-Lexington was the 2-0 winner over Divine Child when they last played one another back in August of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Croswell-Lexington sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-28, 25-16.

Lauren West paced Croswell-Lexington's offense, picking up 13 kills. West got some help from Amaya Torrez and her 22 assists. Ella Mcmillan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Croswell-Lexington's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Divine Child, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Croswell-Lexington has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary's Prep on the 26th. As for Divine Child, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cabrini at 5:00 p.m. on September 3.
