Volleyball Recap: Torrington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Torrington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Oxford Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Torrington couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-27, 26-24, 26-24.

Torrington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Oxford, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

Coincidentally, Torrington and Oxford will both be playing Watertown the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Raiders will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
