Mars Hill Bible had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Geraldine Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 42-0 victory on Friday. The Panthers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hudson Higgins produced another solid performance rushing for 101 yards and two scores on only ten carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 61 yards. Mars Hill Bible also got help from Isaiah Owens, who showed off his sure hands for 93 receiving yards.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Mars Hill Bible, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Higgins, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Mars Hill Bible's record is now 13-0. As for Geraldine, they moved to 11-2 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Coming up, Mars Hill Bible will square off against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 9.7 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Geraldine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
