Basketball Game Preview: St. Peter's Spartans vs. Crestline Bulldogs

St. Peter hasn't had much luck against Crestline recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The St. Peter's Spartans will take on the Crestline Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.

St. Peter's is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Saturday. They took a blow against Danville, falling 78-50. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-20.

Meanwhile, Crestline waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 47-43 W over the Comets.

Crestline's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. As for St. Peter's, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

St. Peter's came up short against Crestline when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 44-39. Can St. Peter's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
