Volleyball Recap: New Canaan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Canaan can now relate to. They fell just short of the Trumbull Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Despite the loss, New Canaan still got an impressive performance from Helena Jan, who had 39 assists and ten digs. Jan is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 21 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

New Canaan's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Trumbull, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-6.

New Canaan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trumbull, they will challenge Greenwich at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
