Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Has No Trouble Against Perry

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bath, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Perry Commodores 3-0. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Jefferson walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-16.

Jefferson found their leader in sophomore Brynn Coil, who had eight digs and two aces.

Jefferson was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

The win got Jefferson back to even at 1-1. As for Perry, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will welcome Kalida at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Perry, they will face off against Kenton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
