Basketball Recap: Riverview Takes a Loss

Riverview lost to Springdale back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Dynamos an easy 49-28 victory. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Riverview dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Springdale, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Riverview will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greensburg Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Springdale, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 82-71 victory against Aquinas Academy on the 26th.
