King's Academy not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 12, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maryville Christian Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lillian Myers, who had six digs and five kills. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Robbins, who had three digs and three blocks.

The win got King's Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Maryville Christian, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

King's Academy has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Pigeon Forge on the 15th. As for Maryville Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Greenback on the 15th.
