Green Run strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 28-17 win over the Kempsville Chiefs. Given the Stallions' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Chiefs are ranked 99th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Kempsville still got an impressive performance from Camir Croom, who picked up 182 receiving yards and one score.

Green Run's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Kempsville, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 2-2.
