Softball Recap: Davenport Broncos vs. Celebration Storm
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Horizon, Davenport was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Celebration Storm by a score of 15-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Ashanti Pagan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single hit, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
