Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Zachary). Everything went their way against the Slaughter Community Charter Knights on Friday as Zachary made off with a 25-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Zachary pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Slaughter Community Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Zachary has already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against St. Michael on the 28th. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Notre Dame on the 29th.
