Football Recap: Lakeside Vikings vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles

Friday just wasn't the day for Lakeside's offense. They took a blow against the Woodward Academy War Eagles on Friday, falling 50-0. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the War Eagles are ranked 55th).

Even if they lost, Lakeside's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Makhi Williams-Lee was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up twohimself.

It was another big night for Landon Walker, who rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 187 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes for Woodward Academy.
