Basketball Recap: Timber Lake Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Timber Lake took on Mobridge-Pollock on Saturday. The Timber Lake Panthers took a hard 59-42 fall against the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers. The Panthers were probably out for revenge after losing 65-41 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Timber Lake now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mobridge-Pollock, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Timber Lake will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Central at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Lakota Tech at 1:00 p.m. on December 30th. Mobridge-Pollock knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lakota Tech likes a good challenge.
