Softball Recap: Doyle Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Doyle walked away with it. They skirted past the Sterlington Panthers 5-3. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Doyle pushed their record up to 26-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sterlington, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-7.

As of now, neither Doyle nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
