Softball Recap: Willows Comes Up Short

Willows lost to Colusa back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Honkers came up short against the RedHawks, falling 13-1. The Honkers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willows saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tylie Coggins, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Willows' loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Colusa, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Colusa beat Willows by a score of 16-0 on Thursday.
