After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bassett, Edgewood was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Pomona Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-10. As for Pomona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Edgewood will face off against rival La Puente at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pomona is set to challenge their familiar foe Ganesha at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
