Softball Preview: St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs vs. East Nashville Magnet Eagles
The St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs will head out to take on the East Nashville Magnet Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Cecilia Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully East Nashville Magnet likes a good challenge.
St. Cecilia Academy let University School of Nashville stack eight runs on them in the second inning on Wednesday but luckily St. Cecilia Academy prevailed anyway. The Scarabs walked away with a 13-9 win over the Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Scarabs in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.
Meanwhile, East Nashville Magnet came up short against University School of Nashville on Tuesday and fell 8-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
