Softball Recap: South Greene's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, South Greene finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the North Greene Huskies, falling 15-2. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

South Greene saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kortnei Bailey, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. Bailey is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

South Greene's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for North Greene, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Greene will host Chuckey-Doak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Greene, they will be playing at home against Greeneville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
