Basketball Recap: Britton Deerfield Drops Season-High Score on Addison

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Britton Deerfield). They really took it to the Addison Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 95-61 win. With the Patriots ahead 58-33 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Britton Deerfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Good, who went 9-for-20 on his way to 22 points and six steals. Good's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jameson Watson, who went 8-for-12 en route to 21 points.

Britton Deerfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Britton Deerfield's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Addison, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Britton Deerfield will square off against St. Mary Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Addison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sand Creek at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th.
