After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenbrier East, Nitro was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the St. Joseph Central Irish 12-2. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Irish recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

McKenzie Hyatt made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Hyatt was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
