Soccer Recap: Davie County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Davie County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Iredell Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Iredell this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in September.

Davie County's goal came courtesy of Ethan Christie, who's now up to six this season.

Davie County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-3. As for North Iredell, they now have a winning record of 8-7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Davie County is set to take on their familiar foe South Iredell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Iredell will face off against rival Statesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
