Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minerva). Everything went their way against the Aquinas Knights on Saturday as they made off with a 12-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Minerva's offense was hitting Aquinas from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Kyleigh Lippincott led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win was the fourth in a row for Minerva, bringing their record up to 8-6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those four contests. As for Aquinas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Minerva has already played their next match, a 6-0 win against New Philadelphia on the 8th. As for Aquinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against North on the 9th.
