It was a Battle of the Birds when Valor Christian took on Clearfield on Saturday. The Valor Christian Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Clearfield Falcons. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five games in a row.

Valor Christian was led to victory by Renn Bailey and Mason Walters. Bailey had 17 assists and eight digs, while Walters had 12 digs. The dominant performance gave Bailey a new career-high in assists.

Valor Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Clearfield, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Valor Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Grandview at 6:30 p.m. The matchup will give Valor Christian their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Clearfield, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Viewmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will also be Viewmont's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
