Football Game Preview: Chowchilla Tribe vs. Caruthers Blue Raiders + How To Watch

The Chowchilla Tribe will take on the Caruthers Blue Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Chowchilla is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Minarets just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 36-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Caruthers lost 28-8 to Mission College Prep last Friday.

Chowchilla's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Caruthers, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Chowchilla against Caruthers when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-13 victory. Will the Tribe repeat their success, or do the Blue Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
