Richland Center entered their tilt with Necedah on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Richland Center easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7.

Danica Pauls paced Richland Center's offense, picking up five kills. Pauls got some help from Aubrey Kohlstedt and her eight assists. Adelyn Wertz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Richland Center's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Necedah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Richland Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Seneca on the 27th. As for Necedah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Prairie du Chien on the 27th.
