Basketball Recap: Foxborough Piles Up the Points Against Ponaganset

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foxborough). They breezed by the Ponaganset Chieftains to the tune of 81-46 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Despite the defeat, Ponaganset had strong showings from Randy Myers, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 12 points, and Brady Miller, who posted 18 points.

The win was the third in a row for Foxborough, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Ponaganset, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Foxborough and Barnstable will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ponaganset, they will take on Toll Gate at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ponaganset is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.
