Softball Game Preview: Greene Central Rams vs. Tarboro Vikings

For the second straight game, Greene Central will face off against Tarboro. The Rams will head out to challenge the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Greene Central will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Greene Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Tarboro with a sharp 16-1 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rams with their most commanding win of the season.

Anna Grace Tillman made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Tillman was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.
