Volleyball Recap: Menlo School's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over + How To Watch

It was a good run, but Menlo School unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Harker Eagles. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Menlo School lost, don't look at Ava Wang. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and two assists. Wang is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Mia Bowers also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Aline Grinspan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and three aces.

Menlo School's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Harker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Menlo School will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. Harker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
