Volleyball Recap: Spring Hill's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Spring Hill extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 27-6. They put the hurt on the Gilmer Buckeyes with a sharp 3-0 win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buckeyes, too.

As for Gilmer, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since August 12th.

Despite the loss, Gilmer still got an impressive performance from Brie Jones, who had 20 digs. Jones has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring Hill will challenge rival Chapel Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gilmer is set to face off against their familiar foe Kilgore at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
