Football Recap: Sheridan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sheridan came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Willamina Bulldogs, falling 41-0. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 67-12 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Willamina found their leader in sophomore Jacob Bazzy, who rushed for 149 yards and three scores on only nine carries. Shane Mathers was another key player, rushing for 56 yards and one TD.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan will head out to take on Harrisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Willamina, they will venture away from home to challenge Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
