Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Platteview). They blew past the Ralston Rams 66-16 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

Leading Platteview to victory were Brooklyn Stehlik and Kady Vanosdall. Stehlik posted eight points and 13 boards, while Vanosdall went 5 for 10 on her way to 11 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Vanosdall a new career-high. Rylee Tex was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Platteview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Platteview's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Ralston, their loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Platteview will head out to take on Duchesne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Platteview is facing Duchesne at the right time seeing as Duchesne is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Ralston has already played their next match (against Mercy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
