Soccer Game Preview: Fredericksburg Academy vs. Wakefield School

Fredericksburg Academy hasn't had much luck against Wakefield School recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will take on the Fighting Owls at 3:30 p.m. Wakefield School took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fredericksburg Academy, who comes in off a win.

Fredericksburg Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Westover Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Fredericksburg Academy, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Wakefield School fell victim to Foxcroft and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of Foxcroft by a score of 1-0.

Fredericksburg Academy pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Wakefield School, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2-2.
