Volleyball Recap: Animas Takes a Loss

Animas lost against Magdalena back in October and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Steers, falling 3-0. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-11.

Animas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Magdalena, they moved to 13-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Animas is set to square off against their familiar foe Quemado at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Magdalena will take on rival Reserve at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
