South Fayette put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 71-61 victory over the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

South Fayette's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Thomas Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the South Fayette Lions challenge the Moon Area Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (South Fayette has won three straight at home, while Moon Area won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bethel Park at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
