Basketball Recap: Columbia Academy Piles Up the Points Against Ben's Ford Christian

There's no place like home for Columbia Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They really took it to the Ben's Ford Christian Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-35 win. The match marked the Cougars' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Despite the loss, Ben's Ford Christian still got an impressive performance from Israel Kongolo, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. That was a full 57.1% of Ben's Ford Christian's points, marking the 11th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Columbia Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Ben's Ford Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Woodlawn Prep the next time they take the court. Ben's Ford Christian will host Woodlawn Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Columbia Academy will host them at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st.
