Volleyball Recap: South Forsyth Comes Up Short

South Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cartersville Hurricanes. The War Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Mckenzie Wilkie was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October of 2024.

South Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cartersville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

South Forsyth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Starr's Mill on the 9th. As for Cartersville, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Norcross on the 9th.
