Needham entered their tilt with Natick on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Redhawks by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Needham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-18, 25-20, 27-25.

Julia Burns paced Needham's offense, picking up ten kills. Burns got some help from Bella Lee and her 29 assists. Coco Cusick controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Needham's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Natick, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Needham will venture away from home to square off against Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Natick, they will host Algonquin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
