Basketball Recap: Dora's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was a good run, but Dora unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 65-41 to the Cold Springs Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since January 2nd.

Despite the loss, Dora still got an impressive performance from Bella Reese, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards. Reese has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Millicent Wilson was another key player, putting up four points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Dora's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-9. As for Cold Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Dora will challenge Oak Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cold Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
