After each having a week off, the Edison Vikings and the Grant Pacers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Edison is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Lodi to the tune of 56-17 last Friday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Flames recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Devin Rasmussen had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 393 yards and seven touchdowns on only 16 passes. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 31 passing touchdowns on the season.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Edison's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Grant against Cordova two weeks ago as the team secured a 48-7 victory. With the Pacers ahead 42-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Edison better keep an eye on Blake Nycum. He was instrumental in Grant's win, throwing for 352 yards and five TDs on perfect 10-for-10 passing. They are undefeated when Nycum posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. 89 of Nycum's passing yards were hauled in by Damarcus Brown, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Grant proved: they limited Cordova to a paltry 2.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Gary Tia for the heroic effort on defense: he. Grant's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 5.01 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 13.17 on average over their last five games.
Edison's record is now 6-4. As for Grant, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 6-4.
Edison might still be hurting after the 28-7 loss they got from Grant when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Thankfully for the Vikings, Brandon Lambert (who rushed for 185 yards and three scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
