Basketball Recap: Virgin Valley Bulldogs vs. Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights
If Virgin Valley was riding high fresh off their 61-38 takedown of Lincoln County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Virgin Valley Bulldogs took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Virgin Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Waite, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
