Baseball Recap: Atchison County Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Atchison County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 28-2 to the McLouth Bulldogs. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 12-9.

Atchison County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for McLouth, their win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-9.

Atchison County has already played their next game (against Jackson Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for McLouth, they will take on Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on Thursday.
